Loops Now Included at No Additional Charge!

Loops, loops, loops, loops

We now include "true" loops with every new track package, with no additional charge. Some loops comes with an intro and an ending file to be placed where you want them. What do we mean by "true" loops? In reality, any song can be looped (kind of like an eternal repeat function on your stereo). The problem with this kind of looping is that it isn't always seamless or makes musical sense when it jumps back to the start. A true loop sounds like it ends abruptly when played only once, but when it is looped properly, it should sound seamless as it plays over and over.

In order to create smoother intros and endings, we have included additional files with some loop packages when necessary. If you use Windows Movie Maker, or iMovie on a Mac, simply drag the files into the audio window, place the intro at the beginning, copy and paste the main loop as many times as you want, and then drag the ending file in. The trick is to be sure each audio file is nice and snug up to each other without overlapping. Trust your ears - if you need to overlap the files slightly to smooth it out, simply use the nudge function under the "Clip" menu. And there you go - a nice and seamless original music track that you can control the length of!

A word of caution - often, Flash players don't play mp3 loops very well (some kind of whacky encoding issue). Also, Windows Movie Maker often adds a slight pause to the file when you import it as an mp3. For your convenience, we have included high quality .wav as well as the mp3 files in each package to solve this issue. Don't be worried about the large size of the .wav files. Compression will take place when you export your finished project to a Windows Media File or a Quicktime movie.

Only our newer pieces include loop versions. Be sure to click on the "More Options" magnifying glass to see if loops are included for the track you are previewing. If not, but you would like one, just contact us and tell us. We'll make one at no extra cost and send it to you with your purchase!
